With over thirty (30) years of professional experience, New Creations Caribbean’s team is dedicated to providing quality emotional, psychological and behavioural counselling health services, as well as organization and management support services which includes crisis intervention, wellness promotion and professional development. Utilizing SimplePractice© as our confidential practice management platform, our team of competent and experienced counsellors have been trained and certified to provide telemental health (online therapy) as well as traditional in-person counselling.

Tenille Richardson-Quamina, PhD, LCSW

Tenille Richardson-Quamina, PhD, LCSW

obtained her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech and has worked in family services and child welfare for over 21 years providing case management and individual, couples, and family therapy. She has also held positions as Program Director and Vice President, Clinical Services, where she provided staff with managerial support and clinical supervision. In the era of escalating negative Internet behaviors, it became her mission to help men, women, and teens stop the Internet from being a problem in their life or relationship. She founded New Creations Counseling Services LLC in 2016 and has developed customized therapy techniques and preventative psycho-educational workshops to help her clients and the community overcome online addictions, cyberbullying, and online affairs.

Chelsea-Storm de Meillac, MSW

Chelsea-Storm de Meillac, MSW

holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida International University, where she also obtained her Bachelors in Social Work. Chelsea-Storm has been practicing individual and group counseling, advocacy, and case management for over five years.

Chelsea-Storm began her career in Social Work with a focus on at-risk youth, which illuminated her passion in supporting young adults. The recognition of the hardships of the child welfare system ignited her to begin advocating for enhanced programming, and also led her to becoming a personal mentor to several young adults. As her career progressed, Chelsea-Storm widened her client scope to include adults and families as a whole.

Chelsea-Storm has a heartfelt approach to evidence based practice, and combines her formal education with her experience in transformational work. Chelsea-Storm is an established Authentic Connection facilitator, and has been successfully facilitating experiential workshops on emotional intelligence since 2017. She has a strong background in communication skills, conflict resolution, relationship building, and personal empowerment.

At the heart of her work, Chelsea-Storm maintains an ability to create a safe space for her clients to feel at ease to share their experiences openly. She supports persons navigating mental health, trauma, relational issues, life transitions, low self-esteem and more.

Keshan Latchman, MSc

Keshan Latchman, MSc

holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the West Indies; a Post
Graduate certificate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender and Development Studies from the University of the West Indies. He has additional training in Trauma and Couple’s Therapy.

As a Clinical Psychologist, he provides counselling for: young people (14+), adults, couples, and groups; and conducts crisis management/debriefing (Critical Incidence Stress Debriefing) sessions with organizations. Within this professional remit, Keshan has been utilizing a range of evidence-based psychotherapy treatment for numerous psychological issues such as Trauma, Grief/ Bereavement, Adjustment, Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Dysregulation, Relationship Distress, Parent- Child communication building etc. Additionally, Keshan conducts psychological testing/assessments for children and adults which helps persons better understand their challenges and work towards effective treatment and interventions.

Keshan is an advocate for humanity and world peace. He was involved in a number of research projects such as the UNICEF funded Break the Silence: End Child Sexual Abuse research as well as the United Nations funded Sexual Culture and the Implications for HIV research project. In addition, he has represented Trinidad and Tobago at the United Nations Global Youth Forum for the UNiTE Campaign to End Violence against Women and Girls, and subsequently was a representative at the Commission on the Status of Women.

Keshan is a meditation practitioner. He has practiced meditation for over fifteen years and currently teaches mindfulness meditation for emotional wellness across various platforms. In this regard, Keshan takes pride in the work he dedicates himself to and actively seek out and promote mindful experiences and meaningful conversation as catalysts for advocating peace and respect internally and within communities.

Lorrien Joseph, MA

Lorrien Joseph, MA

holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling (Honors) from the Caribbean Nazarene College, Santa Cruz, Trinidad. She is very competent in working with a wide clientele in a number of specialized areas including career, pre-marital, marital counselling, family and grief and crisis counselling. Lorrien’s eighteen year experience at Open Bible High School, as Teacher and Guidance Counselor, has developed her deep passion and competence in using an eclectic approach for working with youths and by extension their families in both individual and group settings. She has conducted numerous counselling sessions and career related workshops to help students and their parents plan and prepare for a meaningful future. She also has experience in counselling youths who have had aberrations with the law, gained during her internship at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) in Arouca, Trinidad. Lorrien believes in life-long learning and continues research to improve her skills in the area of grief counselling and multi- cultural counselling which is pertinent to the diverse culture found in Trinidad and Tobago.

Yvette Seales, MA

Yvette Seales, MA

possesses a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling from the Caribbean Nazarene College, Santa Cruz.  Currently, she is enrolled in a PhD Program in Social Research with the Omega Graduate School, Tennessee, U.S.A. Yvette has been engaged in providing therapeutic client/care services in areas such as individual, couples, family and group counselling.  She also conducts career counselling and life skills training; however her special interest is working with families, ensuring that they are strong and functional. This has led her to participate in training sessions in Family Mediation where she has developed a working knowledge of models, theories, skills and approaches used in all aspects of Family Mediation Practice.  Yvette’s greatest passion though is working with children and youth and she has been doing so for approximately forty years.  This period also includes experience working with youths at the correctional facility at the Youth Training Centre. (Y.T.C.) She is also engaged in teaching part-time at a tertiary institution in the area of Psychology.  This is as a result of her continued interest in education, having served as an educator/administrator for a number of years.
